Accounting Team Leader - Southern Suburbs, South Africa - CA Financial Appointments
Description
Dynamic and established accounting firm seeks a finance and office manager to join them and be responsible for the finance of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage workflow of junior clerks
- Review VAT, PAYE and SARS statutory filing for companies and individual clients
- Review of monthly payrolls for all retainer client accounts
- Prepare and review tax compilations
- Handle SARS tax related matters
- Process and prepare accounts and ledgers for clients as needed
- Review of annual financial statements for audited accounts
Requirements:
- Minimum of BComm Accounting honours degree or similar relevant completed degree
- Minimum 3 years work experience, with a preference for completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
- Must have advanced MSExcel skills, with knowledge of shortcuts
- Experience with Caseware or Draftworks, and cloud accounting would be a plus
- Good people skills and ability to lead and manage a team
- Must have good current working knowledge of individual and company tax knowledge
- Good team player, with good levels of selfdrive
