Description

Dynamic and established accounting firm seeks a finance and office manager to join them and be responsible for the finance of the firm.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage workflow of junior clerks
  • Review VAT, PAYE and SARS statutory filing for companies and individual clients
  • Review of monthly payrolls for all retainer client accounts
  • Prepare and review tax compilations
  • Handle SARS tax related matters
  • Process and prepare accounts and ledgers for clients as needed
  • Review of annual financial statements for audited accounts

Requirements:


  • Minimum of BComm Accounting honours degree or similar relevant completed degree
  • Minimum 3 years work experience, with a preference for completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
  • Must have advanced MSExcel skills, with knowledge of shortcuts
  • Experience with Caseware or Draftworks, and cloud accounting would be a plus
  • Good people skills and ability to lead and manage a team
  • Must have good current working knowledge of individual and company tax knowledge
  • Good team player, with good levels of selfdrive
