Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the Modderfontein, Johannesburg team

  • Record and file employee information and movements such as transfers, terminations, engagements, retrenchments, change of banking details in order to maintain and update payroll records
  • Receiving, capturing, and processing all salary input data from relevant sources
  • Ensuring correctness of input and monthly salary payments
  • Capture adjustments to pay
  • Ensuring that daytoday functions of payroll are performed while offering support to management and staff by dealing with related queries
  • Updating stats
  • Assist auditors in all audit queries
  • Performing administrative activities and filling
  • Ensuring that payslips are distributed accordingly
  • Ensuring that third party payments assigned to you are always ready in time
  • Monitor day to day payroll admin and assisting HR Department with relevant reports as requested.

Requirements:


  • Grade 1
  • SAGE People Competency Certificate
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Payroll Administrator
  • SAGE 300 experience essential
  • Proficient in MS Office, with excellent Excel skills
  • Must be willing to work overtime when needed
