    Job Description:

    A seasoned Maintenance Manager is required to oversee the room care programme, ensuring it is pre-planned and budgeted.

    Duties:

    • Develops an annual preventative maintenance schedule for plant and machinery
    • Places orders for maintenance requirements after obtaining approval from senior management
    • Manages power-saving initiatives and best practices
    • Creates a maintenance department budget and monitors expenditure
    • Maintains the Cardex system of budget control
    • Evaluates services performed by outside contractors

    Requirements:

    • Matric qualification
    • Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical engineering
    • At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a Hotel/Hospitality environment
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
