- Develops an annual preventative maintenance schedule for plant and machinery
- Places orders for maintenance requirements after obtaining approval from senior management
- Manages power-saving initiatives and best practices
- Creates a maintenance department budget and monitors expenditure
- Maintains the Cardex system of budget control
- Evaluates services performed by outside contractors
- Matric qualification
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical engineering
- At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a Hotel/Hospitality environment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
