    Job Title: Packhouse Production Manager

    Location:

    Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum

    About the Role

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the packhouse operations to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.

    This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee packhouse operations to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
    • Assist in expanding operations, increasing productivity, and utilizing facilities profitably.
    • Develop and manage people within the team.
    • Implement and maintain best practice policies and principles.
    • Oversee all products packed in the division.
    • Effectively manage wages and other resources.
    • Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by management.

    Requirements

    • Relevant Diploma/Degree.
    • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in fresh fruit and vegetables.
    • Experience in implementing integrated systems.
    • Computer literate.
    • Excellent understanding and knowledge of effective packhouse processes and systems.
    • Ability to read and write English.
    • Strong administration & coordination skills.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Able to work accurately with high volumes of work.
    • Resilient and able to work under pressure.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership skills ability to manage, direct and train employees.
    • Committed and hardworking.
    • Self-disciplined must be able to work without supervision while meeting the set targets.
