    Description

    Senior Civil Engineer Position

    We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in the West Rand area.

    Key Requirements

    • Grade 12 qualification
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BTech or BSc E)
    • Registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA
    • Familiarity with industry-standard contracts and regulations, including GCC, FIDIC, NEC, and JBCC

    Main Responsibilities

    • Signing off designs and drawings as a responsible professional engineer
    • Liaising with clients to understand their needs and preferences
    • Manging and directing multiple design teams to achieve project goals
    • Developing comprehensive scope of work for projects
    • Collaborating with consultants and specialists to provide technical support
    • Establishing and implementing design tools and software
    • Scheduling and coordinating engineering design reviews
    • Participating in staff development programs
    • Ensuring that quality assurance policies are applied consistently
    • Monitoring construction sites and contractors' representatives during the construction phase
    • Preparing and managing technical reports, designs, cost estimates, and procurement documentation
    • Attending site visits and meetings
