Description
Hillcrest Surgical Unit offers a wide range of medical services. It has a specialist Endoscopy Unit and provides in-room surgical services.


Responsibilities and duties:


  • Ensuring the smooth running of reception;
  • Managing petty cash and providing schedule of expenditure to Financial Manager;
  • Managing the reception staff's leave requests and ensuring adequate staffing for reception when staff are on leave;
  • Assisting with reception duties where required;
  • Printing of patient packs;
  • Ordering of office and general supplies;
  • Assisting patients with GAP cover queries;
  • Schedule regular staff meetings with staff

Qualifications and skills:


  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
  • Relevant qualification in administration or practice management.
  • Computer literate;
  • Excellent coordination, administrative skills;
  • Proactive;
  • Teamplayer;
  • Selfdriven;
  • Organised;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Friendly with a focus on excellent patient service.

Experience:

Reception Manager: 5 years (required)
