Job Opportunity at 1Nebula:


We are looking for a dynamic Software Development Manager that will lead the execution of our custom software development teams to ensure high quality delivery to our long-term customers.

As a Software Development Manager you will play a key role in the mentorship and coaching of the delivery team leads as well as collaborating with the supporting teams such as Product Owners, Scrum Masters, DevOps, Quality Assurance and Service Desk.


What You will do within this role (Your key responsibilities):
Lead execution of custom project development teams

  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the scope, timelines and status of the custom development projects in order to collaborate with Account Managers and Product Owners on the project billing and project pipeline (measured through divisional revenue targets).
  • Working closely with Product Owner to ensure customer satisfaction with ontime delivery, planning, communication, project financial performance and customer results (measured through NPS trends).
  • Leading a motivated, crossfunctional team of development, DevOps, quality assurance, architecture and process specialists to fulfil project deliverables (measured through eNPS trends).
  • Collaborating effectively with other parts of the organization to address and resolve customer issues such as Service Desk, internal HR, Finance, and IT teams (measured through NPS trends).
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to delivery teams working on their active software project implementations to ensure selfdevelopment and progression of team members from juniors to seniors and stable and predictable delivery (measured through stable Velocity).
  • Managing team resource, skill, and budget requirements (Measured through project GP margins).
  • Assisting with the transition of the completed projects and features from implementation to Service Desk (Measured through Service Desk SLA).
  • Collaborating with HR and the team leads in identifying, sourcing and onboarding of new talent into the teams (Measured through timesheets).

Agile Coach

  • Coaching team members in agile software development frameworks.
  • Identifying, implementing, and managing the required Agile tools to achieve a productive deliverable team.
  • Coaching and mentoring of the project development team leads to ensure we have active career development plans in place for each team member.

ur requirements for the role):

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in management or supervisory positions leading teams.
  • Passionate about modern cloudbased software development and/or SaaS based product implementation.
  • Managed complex projects solving challenging business problems for clients. Value identification and reflection is second nature.
  • Problemsolving and conflictresolution ability Experience working with a multifaceted team to scope and plan engagements.
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile techniques and
  • Outstanding organizational skill with an ability to manage competing client demands.
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.
