Description
Job Advert Responsibilities

  • Understanding of various natures of business with respect to Incorporations, Private Companies, Close Corporations, Trusts
  • Importation of client trial balance from various accounting packages into caseware accounting
  • Mapping of client trial balance in caseware accounting in accordance with nature of description
  • Agreeing client supporting documents to the amounts contained in trial balance
  • Passing journals in caseware accounting to agree to client supporting schedules and in accordance with IFRS for SME
  • Computation of Income tax in accordance with Income tax act
  • Discussing financial statements with client and explaining accounting and tax concepts to client
  • Completion and submission of Companies and Trust tax returns on SARS efiling
  • Completion and submission of IT14SD on SARS efiling
  • Understanding and calculating clients Value Added Tax (VAT) and submitting of VAT201 returns on SARS efiling
  • Understanding and operation of Sage VIP Payroll, capturing monthly salaries of clients staff on Sage VIP Payroll and extraction of payslips/payroll files
  • Capturing and submission of EMP201's on SARS efiling
  • Reconciling of Salaries and submission of IRP5's and EMP501's on SARS efiling
Qualifications/Requirements

  • Matric
  • Pastel accounting software experience
  • Caseware accounting software experience
  • BCompt Accounting degree or minimum 5 years' experience in an accounting firm
  • Auditing and/or accounting SAIPA/SAICA articles is an advantage
  • Understanding of IFRS for SME
  • Understanding of SARS efiling
  • Understanding of Income Tax
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Well organized
  • Must have own reliable vehicle with valid drivers license.

Salary:
From R12,500.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Fourways, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
