We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate to join our team as a Trails Guide in a Big 5 Game Reserve and Luxury Lodge. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for wildlife, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead groups of guests on guided tours through the game reserve, providing expert knowledge and ensuring their safety.
• Assist with daily operations, including maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
• Participate in conservation efforts, such as animal tracking, habitat management, and research projects.
• Collaborate with other staff members to promote teamwork and provide exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of experience working in a similar environment, preferably in a Big 5 Game Reserve and Luxury Lodge.
• Familiarity with Wildlife photography is an advantage.
• Possess FGASA Level 2 Field Guide certification and Trails Guide qualification.
• Hold a valid RSA Drivers License and PDP.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, reliability, adaptability, and a keen eye for detail.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as stress tolerance and problem analysis abilities.
