Factory Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Factory Engineer to join our team in the Hermannsburg area. As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient maintenance of our facilities, managing projects, and maintaining high levels of plant efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Lead and manage factory engineering projects to ensure timely completion and optimal results.
• Develop and implement effective maintenance and construction programs to minimize downtime and maximize production.
• Manage the company's assets on site, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
• Develop and enforce comprehensive safety protocols to protect employees and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that production and safety standards align with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• GCC (Government Certificate of Competency) – Factories.
• At least 6 years of practical experience in an industrial process plant, including boiler operations.
• 5+ years of experience leading a maintenance team, as well as managing computerized maintenance systems and quality control systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing teams and projects.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
