    Analyze and improve IT governance, risk management, and compliance processes.

    This role involves leading the design and enforcement of security and compliance policies, managing business and system requirements, and providing strategic insights to enhance overall IT and business operations.

    The successful candidate will have experience in IT GRC, cybersecurity, and business systems analysis, as well as excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and participate in IT GRC projects, scope, as-is analysis, gap analysis, and milestone planning.
    • Upload project templates on project management and task management toolsets and update regularly.
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and align IT GRC management practices with business objectives.
    • Facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements, privacy, and other relevant standards.
    • Identify and mitigate IT and cybersecurity risks, maintaining an up-to-date risk register.
    • Develop policies to mitigate compliance gaps directed by compliance frameworks and regulatory bodies.
    • Generate risk management reports and recommend treatment plans.
    • Create roadmaps to correct and improve identified gaps and control weaknesses.
    • Monitor progress against IT GRC service processes and close feedback loops continuously.
    • Document and manage IT GRC processes and content for the knowledge base.

    Client Onboarding (projects)

    • Prepare clients for onboarding to the platform through engagement and training.
    • Conduct client IT GRC assessments in collaboration with IT GRC specialists team members and the Head of Department.

    Ongoing Managed IT GRC Services (and supporting projects)

    • Support clients through their lifecycle at Numata, facilitating next steps engagement processes.
    • Provide feedback monthly, reviewing progress, issues, and posture improvement or decline.
    • Create annual calendars for clients with treatment plans and roadmaps as input.
    • Support clients in accessing, training, and using the IT GRC platform for business value.
    • Determine frequency of reviews, assessments, and reporting based on client calendars.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    • Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or comparative field.
    • Certifications: CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CBAP, or any other comparative certification is an advantage.
    • Technical Skills: Strong evidence-based knowledge of IT related environments, GRC frameworks, security tools, and business process modelling techniques.
    • Analytical Skills: Excellence in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and identifying control gaps weaknesses.
    • Documentation and content management: Governance, risk, and compliance requirements should be proactively considered and translated into system, process, data, and technical solutions.
    • Business Acumen and Communication: Excellent ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Project Management: Knowledge in managing cross-functional projects involving IT governance, cybersecurity, and business process improvements.
