We have an exciting position available for a full time Showroom Consultant who will be based at our upmarket showroom in Florida road, Durban.

Required to work ever second Saturday.

Main purpose of the job:

Promotes and sells Hertex merchandise, sample books and partnership programmes to customers and maintains the image and oversees the effective operations of the showroom in order to meet sales targets.

Requirements:

National Senior Certificate
Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing or Interior Décor / Design (advantageous)
Minimum 3 years sales experience in a retail /showroom environment
Strong interest in fabric / décor field
Outgoing, dynamic and driven
Highly motivated, loyal and committed
Strong customer service

Main duties:

Meet showroom sales targets and deliver customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
Maintain showroom operations and image
Advise and sell to customers in the showroom (including customers of sales consultants)
Build productive relationships with customers and industry
Support sales consultants
Team focus
