Description

To implement and drive the sales strategy and action plans for Field Sales which include wholesale, retail, high frequency stores.


  • Mentor and coach the regional sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Ensure all expenses are within the regional sales budget
  • Develop and implement action plans to grow the regional customer base and increase revenue
  • Manage the achievement of the cost savings targets of the business
  • Utilize regional market, customer and competitor information to analyze trends and effectively indentify threat
  • Ensure compliance to all HR policies and procedures
  • Review training needs analysis to determine interventions to increase capacity
  • Manage time and attendance and overtime of the regional sales team
  • Ensure compliance to point of sale and price point for products and continously communicate to all sales team members
  • Build and maintain business relationships with regional customers to enable sales and volume growth

Position Requirements:


  • National diploma / degree in Marketing preferred
years relevant field sales and marketing experience from the FMCG Industry

  • 3 years management expeirence with strong Traditional and Informal trade background
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and relevant sales technology and tools
  • Good working knowledge of the informal market customer profile
  • Problem solving an analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Good budget and report writing skills

Salary:
Up to R30,000.00 per month
