    Job Title: Sales Team Leader

    We are seeking a highly experienced sales professional to lead our call centre team in driving revenue growth and achieving performance targets.

    About the Role

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the sales team, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and providing exceptional customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and inspire the sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve performance targets.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to optimize business results.
    • Provide quotations for life insurance policies and other products.
    • Optimize leads to ensure maximum conversion rates.
    • Train and coach staff on handling objections and improving sales skills.
    • Maintain team discipline and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and conduct training sessions to enhance skills and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

    Requirements

    • Matric certificate or equivalent.
    • Relevant tertiary qualification.
    • Regulatory Examination Certificate 5 (RE5) or equivalent.
    • FAIS Compliant certification.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 3 years' experience in a call centre sales agent environment.
    • Outbound sales experience.
    • Extensive experience in the long-term insurance industry, specializing in services and products.
    • Familiarity with credit life products and proven track record of supervisor role in a call centre environment.
