  • Responsible for the implementation of sustainable solutions for the business focusing on property and green building efficiencies.
BSc Property Studies and/or BSc or BTech Engineering is required.

  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • BSc (Property Studies) with electives (Sustainability & Environment) and/or (BSc or B-Tech)


  • Engineering studies

  • Mechanical or Electrical.
  • A Post graduate qualification would be advantageous.
  • Accredited Green building professional
  • Project Management.


  • A CEA

  • Certified Energy Auditor and CEM
  • Certified Energy Manager would be advantageous.

DUTIES:

  • Assist with the identification of green strategies across various divisions;
  • Work with Green Consulting firms to assist and assess the sustainable attributes of the space.
  • Assist with identification of building specific KPI's and feasibility plan for certification and business sustainability strategy
  • Assist with all documentation submission to the Green Building Council of South Africa and other sustainability certification bodies.
  • Assist with all documentation submission to legislative bodies and government departments for compliance purposes including Energy Performance Certification.
  • Work closely with the procurement department in terms of strategic sourcing.
  • Participate in crossfunctional assignments.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide constructive critique and critical feedback in an ongoing fashion, based on objective rationale.
  • Assist the Manager with the identification of new and improvement opportunities to support the implementation of sustainability projects and strategies for the business across all sectors.
