Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical training on all products internal and external.
  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
  • Generate plant audit reports with service growth opportunities as key focus.
  • New technology cost saving initiatives.
  • Assist with Case study compilation.
  • Basic understanding of Service Level agreement process and compilation.
  • Implement Change management concepts on customer sites which shows maintenance strategy improvements.
  • Focus on optimization and value added concepts across customer sites.
  • Manage training certificate process.
  • Training room customer bookings in line with recoveries.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Millwright /Artisan
  • Knowledge on pump assembly and building on both slurry pumps and dewatering pumps
  • At least 10 years' experience as field service technician
  • Working independently
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Good Client relationship
  • Arrange all trips for training internal and external/overseas
  • Provide technical support on the product, internally and externally
  • Site visits and troubleshooting
  • Technical product presentations to customers / internal technicians
  • Support Weir employees with technical support
  • Adhere to HSE and housekeeping requirements at the branches and customers sites
  • Adhere to Duty of Care Policy
