Description
The Property Administrator/ Debtors Clerk is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational tasks related to real estate properties as well as managing the debtors book for a group of companies.
This role involves coordinating property management activities, tenant relations, sending debtors statements, invoices and debt collecting.Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations:
- Communicate with tenants to address their concerns, maintenance requests, and inquiries.
- Assist with the leasing process, including screening potential tenants, preparing leases, and conducting movein/moveout inspections.
Property Management:
- Ensure properties are wellmaintained and repair/maintenance issues are promptly addressed.
- Coordinate and supervise property maintenance and repair services, including scheduling and overseeing contractors.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate and uptodate property records, leases, and tenant information.
- Sending out debtor statements, invoices and delivery notes
- Handle administrative tasks, such as filing, correspondence, and recordkeeping
- Receiving visitors
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Matric
- 2 years previous experience in property management or real estate administration
- 2 years previous experience in debtors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with tenants, contractors, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Salary:
From R1,234.00 per year

Education:
- High School (matric) (required)
Experience:
Property Management: 2 years (required)
