Description

The Property Administrator/ Debtors Clerk is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational tasks related to real estate properties as well as managing the debtors book for a group of companies.

This role involves coordinating property management activities, tenant relations, sending debtors statements, invoices and debt collecting.


Key Responsibilities:


Tenant Relations:


  • Communicate with tenants to address their concerns, maintenance requests, and inquiries.
  • Assist with the leasing process, including screening potential tenants, preparing leases, and conducting movein/moveout inspections.

Property Management:


  • Ensure properties are wellmaintained and repair/maintenance issues are promptly addressed.
  • Coordinate and supervise property maintenance and repair services, including scheduling and overseeing contractors.

Administrative Tasks:


  • Maintain accurate and uptodate property records, leases, and tenant information.
  • Sending out debtor statements, invoices and delivery notes
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as filing, correspondence, and recordkeeping
  • Receiving visitors
  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications:


  • Matric
  • 2 years previous experience in property management or real estate administration
  • 2 years previous experience in debtors
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with tenants, contractors, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary:
From R1,234.00 per year


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Klapmuts,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)


Education:


  • High School (matric) (required)

Experience:

Property Management: 2 years (required)
Debtors Clerk: 2 years (required)
