  • Purpose of the Job


The main purpose of a Stock Replenisher (Foods) is to manage the inbound Supply Chain by optimizing inventiry mix in the DC through effective management of key supplier accounts and product ranges.

The main key receivers are the divisional office, distribution centre and suppliers.


This is a Junior Management position and not a store based role, you therefore wont be considered if you dont meet the minimum requirments.

ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Forecasting exception management
  • Project management
  • Data analysis and reporting
System configuration of supplier accounts to optimize most profitable ordering patterns/frequency;

  • System setup and collaborate with individual suppliers to ensure optimal supply chain synergies
  • Analyze opportunities and align system settings to maximize cost
  • Monitor supplier statistics to ensure adherence
Item parameter setting and data analysis to enable optimal forecasting results;

  • Analyze & maintain individual item records
  • Input and maintain market related information into replenishment solution
Product lifecycle management;

  • Manage the product life cycle from new item introduction to exit from market
Place supplier purchase orders to ensure achieval of Inventory and service level policies;

  • Daily processing of system recommended orders
  • Ensure supplier orders are in line with service level goals and inventory policies
  • Ensure effective delivery scheduling
Promotional Planning and Replenishment;

  • Manage inbound product availability in line with divisional promotions
  • Collaborate with suppliers to secure stock for planned promotions
  • Analyze weekly promotional demand exceptions
  • Qualifications
  • Degree in Supply Chain or relevant qualification
  • Experience
  • Minimum of two years relevant (Retail/Supply Chain) experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to analyze bit data in a pressurized environment
