Requirements:


  • National Senior Certificate
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics advantageous
  • Previous working experience in a warehouse/dispatch environment highly advantageous
  • Technical aptitude
  • Computer Literacy
  • Ability to work overtime

Responsibilities:


  • Assists the Dispatch Manager with control of the Warehouse and Dispatch Department
  • Control the flow of finished goods, from the factory, in and out of the Dispatch Department
  • Liaises with other branches to coordinate intercompany orders and deliveries
  • Ensuring orders are checked against picking slips
  • Supervises and assists with the loading of all orders
  • Plans and schedules transport with company vehicles and thirdparty transporters
  • Ensures timeous delivery of all orders
  • Liaises with internal staff and transporters to resolve queries
  • Ensures a safe working environment and adheres to housekeeping standards
