    Description

    Software Development Manager

    A leading cash management company is seeking a Software Development Manager to develop technology strategy and lead complex solution delivery. The manager will oversee a team of developers who design, develop, test, and document applications.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline required
    • Certification in relevant Enterprise Architecture or Technology frameworks advantageous
    • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary
    • Familiarity with advanced ICT project management principles such as Agile and Waterfall
    • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Strong technical background in software development, applications, processes, and equipment
    • 8 years' experience in software development including:
      • 5 years of senior management experience
      • 3 years managing projects in a technology environment
    • Significant experience in designing bespoke software solutions at architectural and implementation levels

    • Support technology strategy and innovation initiatives
    • Plan and organize resources effectively
    • Execute analysis and design activities for complex solutions
    • Implement technical solutions within own area of responsibility
    • Ensure quality management across all aspects of the job
    • Manage risks associated with technology projects
    • Prepare and submit reports on project progress
    • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors
    • Engage stakeholders and customers effectively
    • Manage financial aspects of the role
    • Lead and manage a team of developers
    • Promote organizational culture and change management
