Code Ninjas JR Program Teacher

We are seeking an experienced K-2 teacher to join our Code Ninjas team as a JR Program Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a fun and safe environment where children aged 5-7 can explore basic coding and STEM activities.

Responsibilities:

• Engage students in learning activities and provide individualized support.
• Create a positive and safe classroom environment that fosters growth and development.
• Lead group lessons and activities, with some lesson planning required.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress.
• Collaborate with center staff to enhance the program and ensure high-quality instruction.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with groups of K-2 students.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; or equivalent degree in process.
• No prior coding experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn is beneficial.
• Patient, kind, and understanding demeanor.
• Ability to work well with others and take pride in your work.
• Energetic and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for technology and learning.
