Vacancy: Quality Supervisor

Our client, a leader in the chemical industry, seeks a quality supervisor to administer and manage site EHS systems ensuring products exceed customer expectations based in Amanzimtoti, Durban.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for personal health and safety and that of others.
• Implement, monitor, and review quality procedures ensuring ISO systems compliance.
• Conduct rigorous quality risk assessments and implement gap closure.
• Develop and manage raw materials, packaging, and finished goods specifications.
• Ensure adherence to quality targets through regular quality inspections.
• Manage quality management of change process and control all quality of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Investigate internal and external quality complaints and implement corrective actions.

Human Resources

• IDentify and review training needs of workers relating to quality.
• Coach workforce on all quality expectations.

Other

• Work with SHE practitioner to improve SHEQ activities.
• Manager SHEQ KPIs with SHE Practitioner.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• National Diploma in Industrial Engineering or BTech Quality Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in coordinating SHEQ or quality control.
• Fully conversant on 14001 and 45001.

Package & Remuneration

R1,200,000 - R1,500,000 per annum
