Requirements:


  • A relevant BTech/Bachelor's degree, preferably in a transport
related field

  • Minimum five (5) years' relevant management experience in
transport/control centre management

  • Ability to operate independently at a highly proficient level
  • A valid Code B driver's licence.
Key Performance Areas

  • Manage and provide oversight to the MyCiTi Control Centre
  • Plan, schedule, monitor and control the MyCiTi operation using
electronic vehicle location systems and CCTV systems

  • Manage the MyCiTi passenger information displays at stations and
stops, using remote technology

  • Manage fleet and passenger movement via CCTV
  • Manage radio communication within the MyCiTi system
  • Monitor timetable compliance of the MyCiTi services through the
use of electronic business intelligence software and adjust the

schedules accordingly where necessary

  • Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Analyse and evaluate videos and databases for use by the rest of
the MyCiTi team to ensure contract adherence by third party service

providers

  • Ensure technical functioning of stations relating to the Control
Centre

  • Coordinate with the Safety and Security department regarding
surveillance of the vehicle and station operations.
