Description

Tax Consultant with minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role and solid knowledge of the Income Tax Act and tax systems, required to take responsibility for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of clients (individuals, corporate and trust) for a Chartered Accounting Firm based in Observatory.

Minimum requirements:

Solid knowledge and understanding of the Income Tax Act, tax systems and practical experience in dealing with SARS essential
35 years' relevant Tax experience essential Individual, Company and Trust Tax
Efiling experience essential
Ability to communicate with clients directly
Tertiary qualification beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities:

Endtoend management of a portfolio of clients individuals, corporates and trusts
Drafting Tax Calculations and Income Tax Returns
Individuals, Deceased Estates, Trusts and Corporates
Preparation and submission for provisional tax calculations for individual, companies and trusts
Sending requests to clients for information
Checking of Assessments
Assist with drafting and submission of objections and responses to SARS
Declarations of Ceasing to be Resident
Approval of International Transfer (AIT) Applications
Dividends Tax returns
Account maintenance of all tax types
Attending SARS Appointments
Client queries and requests
