    We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to assist in the development and maintenance of financial controls across all aspects of our business.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Finance Managers, Operations Managers, and General Managers to compile budgets, develop programs, schedules, and objectives that enable efficient and profitable hotel operations.
    • Analyze and interpret financial accounts on a monthly basis for each property and report any anomalies to the Group Chief Executive Officer.
    • Oversee year-end audits of properties and ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
    • Prepare monthly financial packs and present them to the Finance Manager.
    • Compile variance reports on overspends and highlight variances, discrepancies, and changes in policy or strategy.
    • Develop and implement financial manuals, checklists, and policies, subject to approval by the Chief Executive Officer.
    • Maintain personnel files, contracts, leave schedules, medical aid, provident fund, and other employee-related documentation.
    • Conduct audits of employee files and ensure compliance with procedures.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience as a Financial Accountant with supervisory skills and commercial acumen.
    • Strong leadership qualities and ability to work independently with minimal financial supervision.
