Purpose of the job


A well-established reputable chemical manufacturing factory based in Kempton Park has a very challenging but exciting position for a suitably qualified Site Facilities Manager.


Purpose of the job


To ensure the effective functioning of sites and properties by providing an efficient and safe working environment for employees and tenants and their activities by using best business practices to manage resources, services, maintenance, and processes to ensure optimal facilities.

The abovementioned activities shall be conducted in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, No. 85 of 1993 and all relevant Policies and procedures.


Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in property management and Site Facilities Management
  • Project Management experience
  • Office design and layout (CAD or similar system)

Qualifications:


  • Matric
  • ND or BTech degree in Civil/Facilities Management/Building Engineering

Technical Competencies

  • Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety and Quality Legislation
  • Finance and budgeting skills
  • Facility information and technology management
  • Computer Skills MS Office (Word, Excel ad Outlook) as well as Moodi and SAP

Reporting structure:

This position reports to the
Finance Director.


Personal Circumstances:


  • Must be able to obtain a satisfactory medical report from the companies' medical centre.

Salary
R700K basic annual salary highly negotiable, depending on experience.
