    Key Purpose
  • To provide a world class service offering to franchises and brokers by utilizing strong administrative and relationship building skills
    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
  • Servicing of Discovery Invest Contracts post activation
  • Annuity Review Updates
  • Annuity payment date changes
  • Annuity tax queries and calculations
  • Annuity updates from internal departments
  • General Credit Control Queries
  • Credit Control Reports
  • Force Debits
  • Premium Holidays
  • Premium Arrangements


  • Bank details changes

  • Annuities and Direct Debit
  • Change of Debit order dates
  • Handling telephonic queries from policyholders, financial advisors and franchises
  • Ownership and accountability of all telephonic and written queries
  • Liaising with clients and franchise in order to provide quality customer service
  • Relationship building with financial advisors and internal and external colleagues /clients
  • Assisting with testing, system implementations and involvement in various department projects
  • Achievement of service levels and team performance and goals

Personal Attributes and Skills

  • Customer Focused must have the ability to work with a range of people and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. (Written, verbal and telephonic)
  • Must be passionate about customer service and be able to provide value added service
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritize, plan, manage deadlines and control own work

Education and Experience

  • Matric
  • A minimum 2 years' administrative experience in the LISP industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of Long-Term Insurance Legislation (essential)
  • Knowledge and experience in administration of annuities (advantageous)
  • Knowledge and experience in administration Tax on Income (advantageous)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Lisp industry and retirement Products
  • Paradigm
  • Compass SMAD (DFC)
  • Web QA
  • Good knowledge and workings of Microsoft EXCEL and WordWeb QA
