Our client, a company in the Property Sector, is looking for an experienced
Financial Director to join their team in
Stellenbosch.

There is therefore room for growth. They are looking for a young hardworking person to grow with them and their company. You need to be strategic minded. Strong Leadership and Management is required. You will form part of their Ex-co team


Key Performance Areas

  • Financial Forecasts
  • Business planning
  • Payroll
  • All HR related Functions
  • All Financial Manager and Financial Director duties
  • Dealing with all Finance related queries and matters
  • Advising
  • Forecasting
  • Maintain financial policies and systems and ensure compliance thereof, including implementing and monitoring internal controls.
  • Design and implementation lead of financial and consolidation platform to streamline processes and data flows to ensure efficient, accurate and complete reporting.
  • Preparation, review, and approval of the respective monthly management reporting packs for each of the respective operations in the division as well as the respective statutory entities.
  • Actively drive financial reporting and system process efficiency improvements including driving the use of available Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and the design / redesign of reports as needed.
  • Actively involved in the management of the divisions working capital targets and requirements.
  • Ownership of the balance sheet review process throughout the division, including monthly reconciliations.
  • Coordination of the submission of the annual budgets, forecasting and adhoc shortterm estimate processes as well as the various respective reporting packs.
  • Responsible for the company's annual financial statements.
  • Responsible for review of the tax submissions and supporting tax calculations.

CA qualification is advantageous:

At least 3 to 5 years' working experience in a Financial Director position is required (in a Property Environment will be advantageous)

  • Relevant work experience in the property sector is required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills are a must.

Stellenbosch.


Salary:

R R95000 per month.

Starting date:
As soon as possible.
