- Our client, a leader in equipment rental, is looking for a new Head of Finance to lead the finance function and comply with all statutory external and internal reporting requirements. A degree in Accounting and being a registered CA(SA) is required
- In this role, you will directly manage the company's finance function, ensuring the full range of duties are undertaken and completed to the highest standard.
The successful incumbent will be reporting to the CFO and must have a degree in Accounting and be a CA(SA).
Job Experience & Skills Required:
A minimum of 5 years experience in the same or similar role
General Duties:
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of IFRS principles and methodologies
- Strong working knowledge of tax, insurance, company legislation and statutory regulations
- Strong working knowledge of funding markets, margin and balance sheet management
- Good understanding of the principles of risk management
- Sound business acumen
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Strategic liaison & influencing skills
- Presentation and business communication skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (advanced Excel)
- Good people management skills
