    Job Opportunity: Professional Registered Nurses

    Complete Healthcare Services specializes in providing exceptional home-based care for post-ICU and fully ventilated patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of nursing care in the comfort of their homes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-ICU patients and long-term fully ventilated patients at home.
    2. Monitor and manage patients' health conditions, including medication administration, wound care, and use of medical equipment, through regular check-ins with the nurses working with the patients at home.
    3. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
    4. Willingness to perform bedside nursing duties as needed.
    5. Educate patients and families on managing health conditions and recovery at home.
    6. Assess and respond promptly and effectively to changes in patients' conditions.
    7. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
    8. Create a safe and supportive environment to optimize recovery and quality of life.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Degree / Diploma in Nursing.
    • Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
    • Proven experience in ICU or high-acuity nursing care.

    Additional Skills and Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of the homecare industry is advantageous.
    • Recent clinical experience.
    • Understanding treatment plans set by the healthcare team to ensure proper task completion.
    • Good communication skills with supervisors, colleagues, patients, and families.
    • Ability to set up clinical settings within a home environment and carefully select nurses for each patient.
    • Experience dealing with emergency situations at home.
    • Knowledge of ventilation care (Invasive and Non-Invasive), geriatric, pediatric, dementia, post-stroke, and neurological care, especially after spinal or brain surgeries.
    • Knowledge of catheter care (indwelling, suprapubic, intermittent) and prevention of pressure sores in bedridden patients.
    • Experience with tracheostomy care and suctioning.
    • Ability to prevent infections in patients.
    • Skilled in writing detailed reports in good English.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Valid South African Driver's License.
    • Valid SA ID Document.
    • Police Clearance Certificate.
