    Payroll Administrator

    A Top Isando Engineering company requires a competent payroll administrator for salaries and wages. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely payment to all employees within the group of companies.

    The payroll administrator will process payroll using Sage 300 ERP, prepare payroll banking, prepare all payroll-related reporting, and be responsible for statutory compliance and reporting where payroll is concerned.

    The administrator will perform various accounting and ad hoc finance administration tasks as required.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Prepare and recruit pay slips on Sage system to accompany offers of employment.
    2. Send biometric reports to department leads and managers for approval on Monday.
    3. Submit monthly UI-19 report to the Department of Labor.
    4. Maintain employee recipient folders on the banking system.
    5. Load and manage employee loans on the payroll system.
    6. Manage privately paid employee contributions on the payroll system.
    7. Review time and attendance information and investigate discrepancies with the payroll system.
    8. Process bi-weekly wages and monthly salaries according to the agreed timeline.
    9. Update Sage license monthly after salary processing.
    10. Prepare and submit EMP501 bi-annually.
    11. Issue IRP5 certificates to employees.
    12. Audit EVP interest clubs with the club captain and deduct reimbursements due from employees.
    13. Ensure organizational compliance with statutory and labor laws.
    14. Maintain performance and project bonus working sheets.
    15. Capture salary costs in the project management system against relevant projects or budgets.
    16. Assist the Finance department with ad hoc admin duties, including filing and general administration.
    17. Ensure new employees' bank details are loaded on the banking system.
    18. Maintain resource billing rates and distribute to relevant persons.
    19. Maintain company multiplier as part of the month-end procedure.
    20. Maintain increase schedule and review worksheets as part of the month-end procedure.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    Applicants must have a matric certificate or equivalent qualification and at least 5-10 years of payroll administration experience. Sage experience is advantageous.

    Remuneration Package

    R23K - R26K per month. The company offers no benefits.
