Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

Manage and optimize the operational and tactical production plans for designated production lines
Ensure that the Production plan is aligned with National and International demands
Ensure appropriate stock levels at the plant level to meet stock targets
Ensure effective production capacity planning
Ensure a stable production plan by optimally utilizing production facilities and employees
Monitor and optimize bottling capacity at production lines
Support sitelevel production planning personnel in supply chain planning and management
Assist Sales and Marketing in the planning of NPD launches and promotions from a bottling perspective
Create and manage production order reservations
Ensure that valid planning information is maintained at all times in the SAP planning system
Ensure effective production planning administration and reporting
Ensure competent and motivated personnel within the planning department
Ensure that subordinates adhere to and comply with the Quality Management System and relevant policies, procedures, work instructions and Standard Operating Principles at all times
Drive innovation and business improvements in support of operational goals
A tertiary qualification in industrial engineering, production management, Logistics or supply chain management is a requirement.
12 years of experience within a packaging planning environment
High level of SAP
High level of Excel skills
Strong analytical abilities
Strong attention to detail is essential
High level of problemsolving abilities
Futureorientated and able to generate contingency plans
Good verbal / written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with site management and planners
Ability to persevere with tasks and display resilience when confronted with adversity
