Key Role Summary

This leadership position is responsible for the design, formulation and implementation of the Legal Collections & Recoveries operational and strategic framework to achieve the company's overall strategy. The role ensures business growth through the achievement of agreed performance targets.

Main Responsibilities

Main Objectives

To oversee and ensure that preferred legal entity service providers MBD Incorporated and MVR Incorporated deliver optimised legal processes that meet defined litigation milestones within an acceptable return (cost and time).
Ensure primary collection and recovery key performance metrics are aligned with a balanced scorecard encompassing people, process, financial and stakeholder metrics.
Align the Legal Collections & Recoveries business with the Executive: Principal & RTC: Portfolio Management's strategic design and intent.
Maintain joint business objectives in tandem with Risk, Client Support, Information Technology and Capsol Account Management System across agreed, defined service levels.
Custodian of an automated litigation workflow solution that enhances production outcomes.
Develop a reputation risk policy framework ensuring adherence to regulatory and statutory standards as well as group compliance thresholds.
Manage stakeholders effectively, fostering collaboration and alignment internally and externally.
Optimise the Legal Collections & Recoveries ecosystem to support Principal, RTC and Agency strategic and tactical objectives.
Promote a workflow solution that supports our client value proposition in terms of new business origination.
Lead a large, professional team as an inspirational leader.
Optimise Legal Collections & Recoveries operational productivity outputs to support strategic and tactical intent.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience Required

Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Economics or Law plus a Business Leadership / Management qualification.
A minimum of 10 years' experience, of which 7 must have been in the legal collections industry, and 5 were at executive management level in similar business environments.
