Eduvos is looking to employ a
Permanent Lecturer at our Potchefstroom campus on a permanent basis.***
Type of appointment:
Permanent appointment
Purpose:
- To lecture Information Technology modules, in the faculty on a fulltime basis.
- To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum qualifications required:
- B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Science or Information Technology (Majoring in Programming and Mathematics)
Experience:
- 1 2 years or relevant lecturing experience
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
- Relevant research experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
Modules to be lectured:
- Database Systems
- Programming in Python
- Programming in Java
- Object Oriented Systems Analysts and Design
- Web Programming
- Mathematics
- Mobile Applications
- Programming in C++
- Data Structures in Python and Java
Responsibilities:
- Lecturing
- General administration
- Setting and marking of assessments
- Preparation of notes and additional study materials

- Management of Atrisk students
