Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests and experiments according to standard operating procedures
• Record and analyze test data accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Prepare samples and reagents for testing
• Collaborate with other team members and contribute to the overall success of the laboratory

Requirements

• National Diploma in Metallurgy with minimum of 4 years experience in a relevant position.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred
• Knowledge of steel / stainless steel product or smelting / refining is preferred
• Proficient in performing laboratory tests and operating laboratory equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
