Senior Manager:
Aircraft Fleet Management

at our head office in

Bonaero

Park. The successful applicant will report to the

Chief Of Fleet.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assessment of contractual agreements from a commercial perspective;
  • Controlling of aircraft fleet quantities and types;
  • Oversee scheduled planning for aircraft fleet reserve/major module maintenance events;
  • Performing and analysing costings for new prospective strategies.
  • Contract negotiation relating to aircraft and engines and certain service providers;
  • Assessment of contractual agreements requirements and wording.
  • External relationships with the lessors, suppliers, and service providers;
  • Internal with various departments to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Managing the department budget;
  • Assisting staff with finding solutions for complex work;
  • Demonstrate the leadership necessary to make the organisation's mission a success;
  • Acts as a resource, coach and mentor;
  • Identifies and removes barriers that reduce efficiency or effectiveness;
  • Motivates others to accomplish department goals;
  • Fosters an optimal working environment that recognizes and rewards success.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ability to quantify the financial impact of agreements;
  • Strong costing skills in order to support decision making;
  • Strong MS Excel skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent Negotiation skills;
  • Ability to manage a diverse skilled team;
  • B.Com degree;
  • CIMA qualified;
  • Needs to have relevant professional theoretical knowledge;
  • Selfmotivated, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement;
  • Must be able to manage the Aircraft Fleet properly and ensure cost containment.
  • Minimum 5 years aviation experience;
  • Minimum 5 years management experience.
