GT Educational Sales Consultant
(Permanent position)
About the role
We currently seek a highly motivated and efficient GT Educational Sales Consultant to join the dynamic and growing team responsible for selling OUP's material.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Delivering and exceeding sales targets
- Build and secure trusted relationship with public, private and independent schools
- Promote OUP educational materials to drive sales growth
- Maintain a wellorganized sales pipeline
- Develop and execute sales plan for designated sales territory
- Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop high level relationships with district officials and key booksellers
- Conducting product presentations and facilitate exhibitions for educators
- Arrange workshops and events in designated sales territory
- Valid driver's license and own transport
- National Diploma or equivalent in Education, Marketing and Sales
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Proven track record of building high level relationships
- Key Account experience
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
- Understanding of the South African education and school market will be advantageous
- Experience in Educational sales will be advantageous
- Strong CRM skills
