GT Educational Sales Consultant

(Permanent position)

About the role


We currently seek a highly motivated and efficient GT Educational Sales Consultant to join the dynamic and growing team responsible for selling OUP's material.

Based in Midrand, Gauteng and will report to the Regional Sales Manager.


Principal Accountabilities:


  • Delivering and exceeding sales targets
  • Build and secure trusted relationship with public, private and independent schools
  • Promote OUP educational materials to drive sales growth
  • Maintain a wellorganized sales pipeline
  • Develop and execute sales plan for designated sales territory
  • Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop high level relationships with district officials and key booksellers
  • Conducting product presentations and facilitate exhibitions for educators
  • Arrange workshops and events in designated sales territory
  • Valid driver's license and own transport
  • National Diploma or equivalent in Education, Marketing and Sales
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Proven track record of building high level relationships
  • Key Account experience
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of the South African education and school market will be advantageous
  • Experience in Educational sales will be advantageous
  • Strong CRM skills
