PLUMBING BUSINESS MANAGER - PAROW - R32,000 - R37,000 PER MONTH


As such, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced business manager who shares our vision and is able to drive our growth objectives forward, while maintaining our focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers.


KEY TASKS

  • Perform all tasks necessary to ensure the smooth daytoday operations of the business,
  • Perform relevant accounting reconciliations, maintain accurate financial information and prepare financial reports,
  • Guide administrative staff (internal and external) to ensure the effective maintenance of operational and financial records,
  • Weekly and monthly payroll processing,
  • Oversee the scheduling, loading and authorizing of bank transactions,
  • Process customer statements and submit to relevant portals or departments,
  • Manage the company's insurance program,
  • Supervising staff, including hiring, training and evaluating employees,
  • Drive monthly, quarterly and annual account closings and manage external audit processes,
  • Maintain financial controls by creating, recommending, and continuously improving policies and procedures,
  • Ensure the overall performance of the receivable and payable books and keep ageing within tolerable limits,
  • Continuously improve the trading position of the business through the establishment, management and optimization of trading terms with both customers and suppliers,
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (OHSA, BCEA, Building Regulations and Standards etc.),
  • Ensure the effective functioning, appropriateness and continuous improvement of operational and financial systems,
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Remain up to date, and continuously advise on changes to the regulatory environment,
  • Report key financial performance, cash flow and operating information on an adhoc, monthly, quarterly and annual basis,
  • Introduce and improve operational and financial reporting through effective system implementation, administration and utilization (accounting, inventory etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • B Com in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting or equivalent

Experience & Knowledge:


  • At least 5 years relevant experience with demonstrable management capabilities
  • Good knowledge of all aspects of financial accounting and management (base IFRS for SMEs knowledge imperative)
  • Good base experience and knowledge of cloudbased accounting systems
