ALDO is currently seeking a Junior Planner to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Planner, you'll play a crucial role in helping us bring our fashion-forward vision to life.

Location and Working Conditions:

Based in Johannesburg.
Hybrid model: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays in office; Wednesdays and Thursdays work from home.
Occasional local travel required to visit stores and check inventory.

Responsibility:
Maximise business profits through effective merchandise assortment management across store groups.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
Analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Desirable Skills:

Minimum 2 years relevant retail experience in Junior Planner role.
Understanding of footwear customer needs.
Knowledge of retail critical path elements and product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse sales and store reports weekly.
Manage stock allocations to drive sales.
Coordinate with warehouse for timely dispatches.
Compile reports and conduct analysis.

Qualifications:

Matric required.
Driver's License advantageous.
Degree or diploma in business management preferred.
Minimum 2 years in similar role, ideally in fashion.
