You will be assisting our kind and caring GM, being her right hand, whilst you assisting in administration, reception, reservation, FO... you name it... there you will be assisting.     Duties:

    Responsible for FO / Reception / Reservation

    • Maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanour.
    • Welcome guests as they arrive.
    • Manage incoming calls
    • Perform reservation requests
    • Respond to all guest questions and requests.
    • Manage guest bookings and reservations.
    • Keep a tidy and orderly work space.
    • Verify customer information and payment options,
    • Determining rooms available
    • Assign rooms and respond to customers with confirmation emails or letters.
    • Accept payments
    • Check guests out.
    • Administration

    Must have exp in:

    • Point of sale system Apex, Plus central, Nebula Pos
    • Min 1- 2 yrs exp in Reservation / Reception /FOH
    • Min 1 -2 yrs exp in Stock Control
    • Previous exposure to a Lodge / Hotel environment
    • Exp in Compliance officer
    • Guest Liaison
    • Previous exposure to a Lodge / Hotel environment
    • Pref a tertiary education in related field

    • manage bookings, greet guests,
    • seamlessly resolve customer issues or complaints.
    • Strong multi-tasking skills; multi-tasking with ease
    • Sound communication competencies
    • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to manage complaints subtly.

    Qualification

    • Matric
    • Relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous
    • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer programs.
