Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Storeman to join their team


Responsibilities:


  • Unloading, unpacking, and receipting incoming stock and materials.
  • Checking both incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy and quality.
  • Managing stock/inventory control (including establishing processes).
  • General Stores duties.
  • Packaging of all outgoing orders.
  • Ensure that a clean and safe working environment is upheld.

  • Be motivated and focused on supporting internal clients,

  • Be autonomous, a natural problem solver who has the ability to think a few steps ahead through the process,
  • Be comfortable working within a closeknit team.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in a stores environment within the construction industry or manufacturing industry
  • A forklift license and experience are necessary
  • Logistics experience required.
  • Trucking experience required.
  • Knowledge of inventory processes and practices.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
