- Develop new recipes and formulations for customer- and innovation projects
- Match products and further develop existing recipes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
- Prepare application samples and perform analytical checks on development samples
- Research new ingredients and flavor profiles
- Develop formulations that meet cost and sustainability requirements
- Coordinate and manage development projects
- Compile technical documentation and ensure smooth production handover
- Ensure Good Laboratory Practice is maintained in the Application Laboratory
- BSc/National Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science or related qualification
- 2-5 years of work experience in a Product Development/Application position
- South African Food Legislation knowledge and experience with SAP
