    Sales and Marketing Manager

    Brick manufacturing and distribution plant seeks a Sales and Marketing Manager to lead sales, marketing, and planning activities, enhancing service quality and efficiency.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to optimize operations.
    2. Drive personnel development through policy implementation, career planning, coaching, and mentorship.
    3. Assist with debtor collection, banking, customer query resolution, and sales documentation.
    4. Execute instructions from the Sales Director and support additional projects as needed.
    5. Oversee sales and marketing planning.
    6. Collaborate in annual budget preparation for sales volumes, prices, and marketing expenses.
    7. Maintain and expand existing customer base through regular meetings with clients to determine future brick requirements.
    8. Pursue new business opportunities by targeting potential clients and conducting market research on upcoming developments and capital projects.
    9. Evaluate transporters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.
    10. Manage and control the Customer Order Book.
    11. Analyze, develop, and implement sales and marketing systems.
    12. Implement personal contact advertising, product promotion, and sample distribution as part of marketing efforts.
    13. Establish a planning management system for efficient movement and documentation.
    14. Conduct market research to establish optimal sales prices for the company's products and potential new ranges.
    15. Evaluate sales and delivery systems (logistics).
    16. Provide monthly suggestions for improving company operations.
    17. Deliver weekly progress reports to the Sales Director.
    18. Compile and submit monthly reports on sales progress and other relevant issues.
    19. Lead and consult with internal staff.
    20. Establish employee goals and career paths.
    21. Conduct employee performance reviews.
    22. Initiate succession plans and department internships.
    23. Offer career development advice and coaching to staff.
    24. Direct staff in report development, analysis, and preparation.
    25. Supervise staff according to company policies and procedures.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    1. Sales and Marketing Degree or Technical Background.
    2. Passion for sales and a strong understanding of the brick industry.
    3. Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
    4. Demonstrated expertise in specific technical/professional areas.
    5. Leverage leadership skills to drive organizational growth and strategic direction.
