    Job Description:

    A Paint Process Engineer is required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company in Pretoria, Gauteng.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Guide technicians to optimize painting processes and ensure stable product production.
    2. Promote continuous improvement of mass production products to achieve high quality indicators.
    3. Analyze problems raised by customers, track progress, and summarize experiences in solving complex process issues.
    4. Assist in process formulation and development of new projects, collaborating with project teams to complete early process development and meet product mass production targets.
    5. Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure compliance with standards and collaborate with SQE to manage related suppliers.
    6. Implement and review painting process-related codes, specifications, and standards, updating BOM data to ensure accuracy.
    7. Assist in data collection, participate in platform activities, and promote new technology in the painting platform.
    8. Master basic operations of painting process technicians.
    9. Complete tasks assigned by the Engineer-in-Charge and Engineering Manager.

    Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in polymer materials and engineering, chemical engineering and process, or electromechanical related majors.
    2. More than two years of on-site automotive related painting process experience, with ability to independently analyze and solve on-site problems.
    3. Engineering Diploma/Degree.
    4. Strong problem-solving skills.
    5. Experience working with Durr robots.
    6. Knowledge of IATF16949/ISO14001 system standards and relevant laws and regulations.
