    Job Overview
    We are seeking a dependable Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee comprehensive supply chain activities. This role also encompasses responsibilities as an Inventory Supervisor, tasked with monitoring and reporting on the organization's inventory levels. The position is crucial as the effective management of products and supplies is vital for achieving business objectives. Additionally, candidates should possess knowledge in Cost Accounting, which includes establishing product costs, inventory valuation, and preparing inventory forecasts. Experience in import management is also essential.


    Key Responsibilities
    1) The Supply Chain Operations Manager will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the storage and distribution of goods. The objective is to manage the entire order cycle to promote business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

    • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations.

    • Direct, optimize, and coordinate the complete order cycle.

    • Negotiate and liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.

    • Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and operational efficiency.

    • Organize warehouse operations and catalog goods.

    • Address any issues or complaints that arise.

    • Achieve targets related to cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.

    • Maintain performance metrics and analyze data to implement improvements.

    • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.


    Requirements and Skills
    • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Operations Manager.

    • Successful track record in distribution and logistics management.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    • Capacity to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.


    2) The Inventory Supervisor will be a trustworthy professional with exceptional record-keeping skills. The goal is to ensure that all business operations maintain sufficient stock to meet their objectives.

    Responsibilities
    • Develop strategies to enhance inventory control processes.

    • Assess business supply levels to identify shortages.

    • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can meet direct customer demand.

    • Document daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.

    • Utilize software to monitor demand and track inventory characteristics.

    • Place orders to replenish stock, avoiding shortages or excess inventory.

    • Analyze data to forecast future inventory needs.

    • Evaluate suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements and maintain positive relationships.

    • Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to achieve business goals.

    • Report to management on stock levels and related issues.


    Qualifications
    • Proven experience as an inventory manager or in a similar role.

    • Strong knowledge of data analysis and forecasting techniques.

    • Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems).

    • Ability to accurately track inventory and generate reports.

    • Analytical mindset with strong mathematical skills.

    • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Reliable and trustworthy.

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPIM) are a plus.


    Cost Accounting Responsibilities
    • Manage product costing, standard cost updates, cost variance analysis, and preparation of cost reports.

    • Handle inventory reporting and reconciliations.

    • Execute month-end closing activities and ensure timely and accurate financial accounting related to revenue and costing.


    Qualifications
    • Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).

    • Experience in comprehensive accounting functions, including Cost Accounting, Forecasting, and Reporting.

    • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Palladium, Pastel Evolution).

    • Strong team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.


    Import/Export Management
    • Ensure compliance with import and export regulations during shipment processes.

    • Manage insurance, tariffs, and quotas associated with shipments.

    • Categorize shipments according to tariff coding systems and liaise with customs agents to facilitate smooth customs clearance.

    • Negotiate to minimize taxes and duties on shipments.


    Requirements
    • A bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant experience is typically required.

    • Strong computer and management skills are essential.

    • Proficiency in additional languages is desirable.

    • Certification as a professional is preferred.
