    Dis-Chem Pharmacies Job Opportunity

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Primary Health Care Practitioner at one of our clinics in Eikestad.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Manage and operate a profitable Primary Health Care Clinic within a pharmacy setting, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
    2. Ensure the clinic's feet-per-hour rate is managed effectively, and set objectives to enhance patient satisfaction and care.
    3. Maintain accurate records of patient details and ensure timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
    4. Process claims efficiently and accurately, following industry standards.
    5. Ensure all clinic services are available and operational within stated hours, with adequate stock and equipment.
    6. Build and maintain healthy relationships with patients, colleagues, medical aids, suppliers, and key community stakeholders.
    7. Develop and implement strategies to improve clinic performance, patient satisfaction, and overall quality of care.

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification in General Nursing or a related field.
    • Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in practicing as a Primary Health Care Sister.
    • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage teams and prioritize tasks effectively.

    Competencies:

    • Knowledge of community health nursing, primary health care, and occupational health nursing.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
