- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers while based in the office, primarily targeting large supermarkets, cash & carries and wholesale outlets.
- Perform needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their evolving needs and preferences.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships through effective communication and relationship-building strategies.
- Communicate with customers via telephone to address inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support.
- Supply regular reports on customer needs, problems and services to ensure informed decision-making.
- Manage and coordinate operations with chain stores to drive growth and profitability.
- Manage and respond to requests and queries from various stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Effectively manage diaries and schedules to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Confirm that all processing on each account is complete before period closure to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Perform administrative tasks, including filing, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Carry out any other related duties as expected from the employer from time to time.
- Demonstrated work experience in marketing within the FCMG sector, with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- A diploma or degree in marketing is highly desirable.
- Exceptional knowledge of MS Office and Outlook programs, with proficiency in using these tools to drive productivity and efficiency.
- A highly motivated and target-driven individual with a proven track record of sales success.
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Detailed-oriented and meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on quality and precision.
- Able to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest office gadgets and technology, with a willingness to learn and adapt new tools and systems.
- Discretion and confidentiality are essential in this role, requiring a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
