    About This Role:

    This is an exciting opportunity to join {company} as a Payroll Administrator. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert payroll services and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Payroll Functionality: Extensive knowledge of payroll preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
    • HR Policy Implementation: Fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
    • Legislative Compliance: Strong knowledge of South African labour legislations, including BCEA, EE, COIDA, UIF, SDL levy, PAYE, and Taxation.
    • Third-Party Payments: Proven working experience with third-party payments, garnishee orders, medical aid, provident fund, tax, UIF, COIDA, and SDL.
    • Bargaining Councils Main Agreements: Proven working experience with bargaining councils main agreements.
    • Leave Reconciliation: Accurate leave reconciliation and reporting.
    • Payroll Reporting: Timely and accurate payroll reporting.

    Requirements:

    • Matric/Grade 12 with maths essential.
    • Certificate in Payroll Administration.
    • 3 to 5 years of related payroll experience required.
    • Proficient on Sage People Payroll and Excel.
    • Strong business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
