    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Telebest. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Reporting:
      • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly and annual accounts, VAT returns, and other financial statements.
    2. Account Reconciliations:
      • Conduct account reconciliations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
    3. Depreciation Management:
      • Manage the depreciation process for fixed assets.
    4. VAT Returns:
      • Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns.
    5. Annual Financial Statements:
      • Draft accurate and compliant annual financial statements using CaseWare.
    6. Finance Department Support:
      • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth operations and development.
    7. BBBEE Certificate Preparation:
      • Plan, prepare, and complete the annual Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) certificate for the Construction Sector.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or equivalent qualification.

    Experience:

    • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

    Skills:

    • Proficient in analysing financial data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions based on data insights.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
    • Familiarity with relevant financial software and tools, including SAP Business One, Enterprise (preferable), CaseWare, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI, and SAGE 300.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to manage tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and prioritise work effectively.
    • Team player who can work collaboratively across different departments.
