Responsibilities:


Strategic Input:

  • Develop and implement the overall social media strategy in consultation with the client and digital team.
  • Collaborate with the Content Lead, Strategists, and Creative Directors to ensure campaign viability, strategic soundness, and adherence to best practices.

Operational:

  • Prepare monthly social media calendars, coordinating with Content Leads and Strategists.
  • Ensure timely client approval of proposed plans.
  • Roll out Always-On plans creatively and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with creatives to implement social media elements for campaigns.
  • Manage and fulfil social media competitions.
  • Monitor social media channels for community management and engagement, responding promptly to comments and messages.
  • Organise and execute community engagement initiatives to foster a strong online community.
  • Attend and present social status updates in weekly client meetings.
  • Develop and evaluate the effectiveness of campaign hashtags and identify opportunities within popular culture.
  • Implement ad hoc client social media requests efficiently.
  • Identify innovative methods to enhance social media following, engagement, clickthrough rates, and execution.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and clients.

Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate campaign reports postcampaign period, collaborating with the data analytics team.
  • Extract key learnings and provide recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Evaluate and adjust strategies based on monthly report findings to meet KPI's.

Training:

  • Ensure continuous awareness of social best practices, trends, and new formats.
  • Keep abreast of new formats and platform training programs for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Requirements:


Experience:


  • Minimum of three years of professional experience developing social media strategies and community management.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a creative agency.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint (or Keynote) and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiency in Social Media tools such as Sprout.

Qualifications:


A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field is preferred, with a specialisation in Social Media Marketing.


Skills and Attributes:

  • A strong passion for and knowledge of all aspects of social media.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is advantageous.
  • Proficient in social copywriting.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Excellent business professional communication and client presentation skills.
  • Creative flair and a keen interest in crafting effective social plans aligned with client objectives.
  • Understanding of the digital ecosystem and its relationship with social media.
  • Quick learner capable of managing multiple tasks with changing priorities.
  • Innovative thinker, collaborative team player, and effective communicator.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of and experience in social media marketing across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram.
